Mike Petkovich appointed to the Management Board of Schenck Process Holding GmbH
The Schenck Process Group remains set for growth internationally. The work and challenges this brings with it require an adaptation in the set up of the management. On 1 May 2012 Mike Petkovich (37) was therefore appointed to the Management Board of Schenck Process Holding GmbH where he will work alongside CEO Dr Jochen Weyrauch and Mr. Norbert Geilen to steer the activities of the Schenck Process Group.
In this new position, Mike Petkovich is responsible for the Schenck Process locations in Australia, China, India, Brazil, Chile and Columbia. He will also continue to manage the activities of Schenck Process Africa (Pty) Ltd. and of the International Business Segment Mining.
Mike Petkovich joined Schenck Process in 2006 as Managing Director of Schenck Process China, before taking on responsibility for the Mining segment in 2009. As well as a wealth of experience in the mining industry, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in management, marketing and international business from the Indiana University in the USA and a master’s degree from the Norges Handleshøyskole in Norway.
