This ultra-modern facility for material and prototype testing is centred around perfectly matched feeding and screening processes. Pneumatic conveying and dust collection
Tests boost efficient design for your systems. Hundreds of materials and airborne particulates are tested annually in the four ultramodern Mac Process TestCenters for pneumatic conveying, dust collection and feeding. Our TestCenters simulate real world conditions of pneumatic conveying or dust collection systems. Testing provides essential information for specifying equipment, making incorrect applications a thing of the past. Weighing and feeding solutions
Our TestCenter located in Whitewater, Wisconsin (USA) is fully equipped for testing customer’s dry bulk solid materials in volumetric, gravimetric, vibratory, and sanitary feeding configurations. Bulk bag discharging and systems software are also tested providing solutions derived from the results. What makes the TestCenter unique is an isolated testing cell for dusty and poor flowing powders and a specially designed room for viewing material tests. The viewing room allows customers to witness live tests through a window and the use of a monitor provides test results and trending in real time. Get in contact
Size reduction and thermal processing
Our 25,000 square foot pilot plant facility is used exclusively to test and demonstrate the capabilities of Raymond® and Bartlett-Snow™ equipment under simulated production conditions. This facility houses a wide range of full-scale processing equipment capable of grinding, classifying or thermally processing virtually any mineral, chemical, food or other material. Equipment is also available to perform pre- and post-processing chemical and physical analyses. Our research and development staff can perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) computer simulation for many different types of processes, contributing to our ability to understand the application. Sifting, screening, milling and blending
Testing for the Kemutec product line takes place at our powder processing TestCenter in Bristol, PA. The TestCenter offers a comprehensive product testing facility for dry materials. Raw feed and processed materials are evaluated and characterized using sieve analysis and laser particle sizing technology to accurately determine particle size distribution. In addition, there is a range of mobile rental machines that are available for customers to evaluate a processing solution at their own facility. Get in contact
The Innovation Centre facilities at Grand Rapids focus on the confectionery, infused and cookie sectors. A full range of equipment is available for cooking and depositing all types of standard and infused confectionery, including gummies, jellies and hard candies. Pneumatic conveying and injection systems
Showcasing the latest in pneumatic technologies for dense phase, lean phase, vacuum and injection, the modern Schenck Process Test Centre enables customers to run extensive tests and assessments on their materials, whilst easily review the process. The centre is also designed to help customers find solutions to problems encountered during pneumatic conveying or injecting materials across a large number of industries; whether you work in the iron or steel industry or process bulk solids such as NF metals, cement, minerals, chemicals or foodstuffs. The Baker Perkins Innovation Centre provides process support for our range of food processing equipment for the confectionery, bakery, food extrusion, breakfast cereal and biscuit industries. Across four separate labs at our Peterborough site we are able to run tests and demonstrations, develop new products and processes and train our customers’ staff. All the equipment is pilot scale but replicates the full size processes precisely so results can be readily scaled up to production volumes. Our process technologists also work extensively with customers on site, helping with commissioning, training and process optimisation.
A fifth lab at Peterborough is dedicated to industrial twin-screw extrusion. The main application is powder coatings, for which a full range of production, testing and analytical equipment is available. Other applications include biodegradable packaging and speciality chemicals.
