Schenck Process, a portfolio company of Blackstone (NYSE: BX), has finalized the previously announced sale of its Food and Performance Materials business (“FPM”) to Hillenbrand, Inc. (NYSE: HI). FPM is a market leader in technologies such as feeding, filtration, baking, depositing, and material handling equipment, and systems for the food, plastic, chemical, and construction material industries. The FPM business joins Hillenbrand’s Advanced Process Solutions business segment.
