Schenck Process LLC is North America’s largest manufacturer of conveying, filtration, weighing, feeding, screening, pulverizing, classification, thermal processing, sifting, and blending equipment. With 50 years of manufacturing experience in North America, Schenck Process LLC has extensive application knowledge for processing industries such as chemical, food, plastics, pet food, grain, cement, mining, wood and petrochemical. We are looking to expand sales in the western United States region by adding a Territory Sales Rep to our growing team of experienced Sales professionals
The Territory Sales Rep will be responsible for selling complete solutions with Schenck Process manufactured equipment through direct sales and new business development primarily within the Food, Pet Food, Chemical & Plastics industries in the Western US territory. The Territory Sales Rep will determine and recommend complete solutions from Schenck Process’ pneumatic conveying, dust collection, filtration, weighing & feeding, and powder processing product offerings for customers’ requirements taking into consideration raw material characteristics, material handling and installation site conditions. We are looking for a well-versed team player with drive and a “can-do” attitude, capable of communicating promptly and concisely, in both written and oral communications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in sales of capital equipment into the Food, Pet Food, Chemical or Plastics industries. Experience selling complete solutions, not just products and equipment, of Material Handling or Processing Equipment/Systems is preferred.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related Engineering discipline) or a Business degree and equivalent, relevant capital equipment sales experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Sales role involving analytical problem solving and solution selling of capital equipment
- Application and operating experience of pneumatic conveying, dust collection, filtration, weighing & feeding, and/or powder processing equipment strongly preferred
- Skilled in the following software/applications/IS:
- MS Office Suite
- Web Platforms (WebEx, SharePoint, etc.)
- CRM Database
- Quote Configurator/Oracle CPQ
- Company SAP/ERP System
- Some AutoCAD
- Ability to travel greater than 75% within the Western U.S. region
Remote position with residence in the
Salt Lake City/Reno/Las Vegas/Phoenix region.
