    Mechanical Conveying Systems are the traditional method for moving large amounts of products and materials, through an industrial processing system. They are very well suited for high capacity conveying rates and for handling a variety of materials, including abrasive products.

    How it works:
    There are a number of moving parts within a mechanical conveying system, to allow the transport process, including belts, buckets, chains and trays. The material is moved at a controlled, fast pace, across the pipeline. The pipelines can be positioned horizontally or vertically and even at an incline.

    Our robust, efficient, Mechanical Systems are used in a variety of industrial sectors, including train sand loading, coal-fired power plants, incinerators, biomass plants, food, plastic and chemical processing sites. Our systems are suitable for the most simple, as well as difficult kind of materials including abrasive, hot, sticky and humid bulk materials.     Types of Mechanical Conveying:
    Belt Conveying typically conveys material across a short straight run, with low energy consumption, ensuring minimal material degration. They consist of a basic metal frame with rollers and a flat metal belt. They often convey products with irregular surfaces, which could be small enough to fall in between the rollers into a tray or bag at the end of the process.

    Screw Conveyers are enclosed and prevent the contamination of products, as opposed to a belt solution, whilst also consuming low energy with minimal material degration. They are however more suited to a very short straight run. Screw conveyors are volumetric devices, whereby with each revolution of the screw, a fixed volume of material is discharged into the process. Material is often moved from a hopper, bin or silo at a controlled rate and volume.
