    The DISOCONT® update is characterised by intelligent interfaces, improved modularity and enhanced software. The DISOCONT® Tersus features everything a future-oriented control system should be equipped with.

    Capable of handling both simple and complex applications
    Thanks to the modular system structure with optional add-ons, the DISOCONT® Tersus allows the units required to be combined cost-effectively and as is best for the application in hand. The system adapts to applications of any complexity, and for ease of use the controls for standard applications have been reduced to the bare essentials. The software has been enhanced to automate additional peripheral functions.

    Minimal engineering workload
    The intelligent interface structure substantially reduces the engineering workload. Only one unit needs to be planned, there is no need for a switch cabinet, and the amount of wiring required is minimal. All the engineer has to do is lay the power supply and data cables.

    The DISOCONT® Tersus electronic unit can be integrated in an existing scales mechanism to form a compact functional unit.

    Flexibility: The system comes with different housings for on-site use and installation in existing switch cabinets. The operating module may be a permanent part of the equipment, or a mobile unit. The control system may be wired or wireless depending on requirements.

    Touchscreen and intuitive operation
    All functions are graphically illustrated on the colour display. In short feed runs the system is adapted to a change of bulk material with the help of the program. In continuous operation, the system optimises itself automatically. Operation can be learned intuitively thanks to the convenient touchscreen operation and display messages in the user’s language.

    Optimum communication structures
    The DISOCONT® Tersus comes with plug-in fieldbus communication modules that enable it to share data with the control system. A PC or notebook can be connected to the system for service purposes and LAN, WLAN and Bluetooth connections are also available as standard. A communication bus inside the scales allows all the components to be flexibly positioned. All the units can be replaced without any need for readjustment or reconfiguration.

    Technical details: Device accuracy for scales better than 0.05 % (DIN EN 61143-1). Electrically isolated inputs and outputs. Data store protected against power failure. Pre-adjusted at the factory for simple and quick commissioning. Various languages can be loaded and transferred. Status, event, adjustment and quantity logs. Batch control with adaptive shutdown curve. Integrated diagnosis and self-test functions as well as simulation mode for testing and learning purposes.
