Raymond® classifiers include a complete selection of static and dynamic classifiers in varying configurations designed for use as independent units or in circuit with pulverizing equipment to meet the exacting product specifications of your specific application.
Raymond® Turbine Classifiers for Roller Mills
The Raymond® turbine classifier for roller mills is mechanically designed to provide years of trouble free operation. Dynamic analysis of high rotational speeds has resulted in our dependable design and construction to withstand the harsh requirements of most operating environments.
Now, with the addition of a Raymond® Turbine Classifier to your existing roller mill, you can enhance overall system performance and at the same time maintain the critical balance between pulverizing, classifying and drying. The turbine classifier provides the flexibility to meet your specific and often changing requirements, can be supplied with a new system or retrofitted to an existing mill.
Raymond® Hybrid Turbine Classifier for RB Bowl Mills
The increase in demand for finer solid fuel products led to the development of the hybrid turbine classifier that combines Raymond’s proven static classifier technology with a turbine classifier.
The Raymond® hybrid turbine classifier’s patented design possesses significant advantages that enhance the performance of the mill, making it possible to consistently produce pulverized fuel which is compatible with today’s combustion technology.
Raymond® Turbine Classifier for RS/RP Bowl Mills
Improve particle size control and higher fineness for pulverized coals and cokes by upgrading the standard double cone classifier of the bowl mill with a dynamic turbine classifier, significant advantages that enhance the overall system performance, particularly in meeting the higher fineness specifications of 85% and above passing 200 mesh (<15R 75 microns).
The turbine’s rotating components have been designed using the latest mechanical technology, the goal being years of trouble free operations in the difficult environment in which the bowl mill and turbine classifier will be required to operate in. Existing bowl mills, either RB or RS/RP designs can be retrofitted with turbine classifiers while adhering to NFPA 85F requirements.
