    Your responsibilities

    1. Core functions
    • Review technical specifications
    • Develop and design customized components
    • Generate GA drawings utilizing 3D and 2D CAD or electrical planning drawings with ELCAD as a member of a project team or independently on small scale projects
    • Create parts lists, detail drawings, detailed project schedules, technical documentation and quality documentation
    • Align and communicate with clients technical contact regarding technical details
    • Create technical specification for purchasing
    • Align with manufacturers regarding technical design for manufacturing
    • Perform FAT and delivery checks
    • Support pre-sales technical discussions with customers
    • Support material tests and prototyping Deliver progress reports for project managers and customers
    • Design and develop new applications (based on products developed by R&D)
    • Design and deliver solutions for customer claims (in alignment with Claim Management)
    • Work as a consultant for service engineers on-site
    • deliver technical input for customized project documentation


    Your qualifications

    • Degree in mechanical , electrical or process Engineering
      • 1-2 years working experience as a design engineer in a relevant industry or with comparable products or systems ( or good graduates from Schenck Graduate Program)
      • Able to manage and coordinate customer orders independently
      • Basic knowledge in material handling systems, applications or products
      • Successful track record of project delivery that covers commercial and technical disciplines including customer requirements management
      • Good knowledge in 3D &2D CAD and electrical design
      • Good understanding of Weighing & Feeding, mechanical/pneumatic conveying or screening technology

      a)    Skills (language skills, IT, other…):

      • Ability to communicate fluently in German and English (written and oral)
      • Understand basic manufacturing processes and its impact on product cost
      • User experience in SAP
      • User experience in Office Applications
