There is a simple formula amongst experts: The force exciters’ work starts where the vibration motors’ work stops.

Schenck Process DF force exciters can be used, for example, to drive vibrating conveyors and vibratory screens with exciter forces of 43 to 603 kN per exciter. They allow both defined force flows and defined mechanical loads in the vibratory equipment.

Working principle:

The Schenck Process force exciter produces an F force with sinusoidal waveform. It has two shafts equipped with unbalanced masses. The unbalanced massed are synchronised to rotate in an opposite direction at the same speed by an integrated toothed gearing.
