    Your responsibilities:

    The Procurement Capability Development Manager is responsible for leading the development, deployment, and ongoing governance of procurement systems solutions across the procure-to-pay process. 

    Essential job functions:

    • Lead the optimization of the procure-to-pay platform across Schenck Process Group (SPG).

    • Lead the global development and deployment of procurement frameworks, compliance, supplier management and risk and knowledge management.

    • Drive value through development of standard procurement reporting to support location and group procurement teams.

    • Manage global procurement technology and associated processes to drive optimization of available technologies and solutions.

    • Support the Chief Procurement Officer and heads of purchasing in developing key strategic suppliers.

    • Up to 25% travel – domestic, North America and internationally.






    Your qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or Contract Law or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • 12-15 years progressively responsible procurement experience.

    • Experience in developing and implementing procurement business processes and technology solutions.

    • Experience in risk/compliance management.

    • Experience in a multi-site, global and industrial environment.

    • Deep knowledge of contract management and supplier relationship management.

    • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

    • Strong data management experience including IT, ERP, and ideally SAP.

    • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
