Filtration Sales Mgr

Your responsibilities:

The Industry Manager, Filtration, is responsible for developing and maintaining top level relationships with national and international accounts with filtration and dust collection needs; obtains favorable specification and bid position for the company; and leads the industry sales organization in closing orders with customers. Also responsible for offering technical sales support to domestic rep agencies, international sister offices, engineering houses and end-users to close orders and to meet sales goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Market products and services to customers with filtration and dust collection needs by direct customer contact; prospect new clients and expand the customer base in these industries. Attend trade shows.

  • Close orders with customers to achieve bookings and margin goals.  Interact with customers throughout sales order process.

  • Review, interpret, and clarify written specifications provided by clients.  Organize and evaluate the data, disseminate information to include supporting documentation requirements (technical, deviations, exceptions, pricing, etc.) and directions for quote preparation.  Present quotation proposal to clients.

  • Deliver to Operations a well-documented scope of work along with coordination and communication responsibility on specification topics during the engineering and manufacturing process. 

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 10 years filtration experience (technical and sales) in specifying, quoting, designing, and selling filtration equipment to industrial markets.

  • Ability to travel 25-50% both domestic and international.

  • Strong technical knowledge of air filtration and dust collection systems used in industrial settings and how to apply it to meet customer requirements. 

  • Proven sales experience with effective communication skills.  Ability to solution sell.

  • Experience leading teams.
