    We are looking for a committed Customer Service Representative for the Chargin Falls, OH location.

    Engineering Customer Service Representative

    Job Purpose:

    Customer Service Representative (CSR) represents the face of the company to the customer and encompasses working directly with customers.  The CSR must be able to investigate and achieve equitable solutions for customers parts issues, develop parts sales pricing, coordination of customer complaints, and billing issues.  Strong ability to recognize/understand and fulfill customer’s parts needs.  Capable of making decisions and adapt to a dynamic situation.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Reviews and analyzes drawings and manuals.

    • Develop parts quotes that specifically meet the customer’s needs.

    • Has the ability to analyze customers buying habits to make recommendations when quoting the customer. 

    • Is able to up sell additional parts or kits when communicating with the customer.

    • Has good technical ability to be able to effectively explain the application of spare parts to the customer.

    • Understands the company product lines and is able to communicate the importance of OEM parts.

    • Has a good understanding of the company’s market pricing and business strategy.

    • Has a good understanding of the product lines and how they work.

    • Will provide customers with appropriate recommendations for aftermarket spare parts and services in order to maintain equipment in exceptional working condition.

     

     

    Required Education/Experience:

    • BS in Engineering or Business, or related field and up to 5 years’ experience or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

    • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, basic negotiating skills, oral and communication skills.

    • Some travel required.

    • Requires flexibility and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.  Requires strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with customers and company employees.

    • Will require periodic visits to customer job sites to promote the After Market businesses.  Work with the power plant staff to plan, identify, and order replacements parts.
