    We are looking for a Supply Chain Apprentice to join our team in Doncaster. You will start by studying a Level 2 Qualification in Warehousing and Storage through the Source Academy in Sheffield. This will be in a work based setting working in our Stores and Goods Inward team. You will then spend time within the purchasing team working alongside our Buyers.

     

    Supply Chain Apprentice

    You will be computer literate and hard-working and willing to learn. You must have basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade D or above) with a good attention to detail and accuracy. Above all you should be interested in developing a career in supply chain and aware of its role within global business.

    Intial duties will include use of warehouse systems relating to packaging, moving and receiving stock. You will also use IT applications and other relevant technology, including warehousing management, ERP and data capture to ensure the safe and efficient processing of goods.

    Once the first 12 months of the apprenticeship is complete you will begin to spend more time in the purchasing team learning the basics of procurement and your will be supported to achieve your CIPs qualifications
