We are looking for a Dispatch Manager to join our team in Doncaster. You will be responsible for leading the dispatch and shipping functions to ensure orders are dispatched on time, packed to the correct standards and all documentation is correct. You will work to pull orders through the manufacturing and purchasing to achieve delivery schedules and improve on time delivery in full.
You will have experience of working with ERP systems and with steel fabrication. You will have strong communication skills with a proven track record of making continous improvements
You will be responsible for.....
Ensuring competitive carriage and packaging costs
Ensuring all goods are despatched in full to customers,
Managing the despatch and export team.
Monitoring expected despatches and pull missing items through assembly, final inspection and Goods In.
Striving for continual improvement and creating this culture within your team
Instilling a strong HS&E culture within your team. ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
