In an effort to continuously improve our products and services, Schenck Process Australia is investing in building a specialised hydraulic capability within our Aftermarkets team. This role is critical in realising that goal.

Hydraulic Specialist (Jandakot)

About the role:

As part of the Service Delivery Team, you will provide technical support for bulk material handling (BMH) hydraulic systems at customer sites and in the workshop. Specifically, you will:

  • Execute hydraulic system maintenance and repair activities on customer sites on Schenck Process BMH equipment
  • Assist with the preparation of Scopes of Work for specific job tasks and ongoing customer maintenance requirements
  • Actively support continuous improvement of the BMH products to reduce the down time, eliminate risks, and improve efficiency
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver on customer requirements
  • Acquire, maintain, and share specialised knowledge with customers and colleagues

The role requires extensive travel, weekend work, and site visits at short notice. Before you apply, please thoughtfully consider the conditions stated and ensure that they are preferable to you.

What we need from you:


  • Trade qualification in Fitting / Machining / Mechanics
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems in a mining environment
  • Be able to qualify for mine site inductions, work on weekends, and mobilise at short notice
  • Commitment to provide high-quality service coupled with a methodical approach to problem solving
