Continuous scales measure and feed mass flows.

The goods are not weighed at one single point but continuously over a previously defined period which enables the mass of entire flows of goods to be determined. Continuous scales are therefore indispensable when feeding bulk materials in particular.

Examples of continuous scales are belt weighers, loss-in-weight feeders, vibratory feeders and Coriolis flow measuring devices.
