Fixing Systems
Pipetop Polysnap Details:

Further examples
This premium screening fixing system is specifically designed for high open area.
Traditionally the stringer rails block the area where panel rests onto it and the area is not utilised. In the pipetop system that area is used in screening, leading to higher open area screens.
Screenex‘s patented Pipetop Polysnap design allows panels to quickly and easily snap into place, requiring only a mallet for installation and a screwdriver for removal.
Pipetop Polysnap Benefits:
- Highest Open Area System available
- Highest efficiency Screening
- Simple secure Fixing System
- Quicker change outs
- No buildup on Rails if High Moisture
- Dry Wet Screening
- No extra consumables required
(i.e. Pins, Wear Strips etc) - No contamination of product after servicing (as no pins, wear strips etc)
- Rails can be adapted to Pin Fixing if required
- Currently used for 30-60mm thick panel fixing systems in wet and dry applications
- Can be used on 1x1 ft or 2x1 ft sizes
- Available for both Poly and Rubber panels

Replaceable Screw in Polyurethane Pipetops This premium screening fixing system is specifically designed for high open area.
The Pipetop Polybush is another Screenex patented Pipetop innovation that uses replaceable screw in Polyurethane Pipetops sleaves.
These systems are in high demand because of its easy panel replacement, easy maintenance, cost effective and high open area options.
Pipetop Polybush Benefits:
- Highest Open Area System available
- Highest efficiency Screening
- No buildup on Rails if High Moisture Dry Screening
- Very secure fixing in Light and Heavy environments
- Rails can be adapted to Polysnap fixing if required
- Currently used for all panel thickness' in all Applications
- Can be used on 1x1ft or 2x1ft sizes
- Available for both Poly and Rubber panels
Polysnap Bolt On Details:

Further examples
Has the ability to convert existing pin type rail systems due to the ease of change out.
This fixing system uses inserts with mushrooms to hold the panels in place. The inserts are bolted into stringer rails by nut and washer.
The inserts have V grooves which help to locate the panel and the mushroom gets snapped inside the cavity formed on the panel.
Polysnap Bolt On Benefits:
- Simple secure Fixing System
- Quicker change outs (as per PP)
- Can convert a standard 50mm+ pin fixing angle iron rail to Polysnap
- Ideal for Wet Screening on finer apertures as no buildup under rails
- Can be used on 1x1ft or 2x1ft sizes
- Available for both Poly and Rubber panels
Polysnap HDB Details:

A new Screenex fixing system utilising both the concept of the Hold Down Bar and the Polysnap system.
Polysnap HDB On Benefits:
- Ideal for Wet Screening
- Provides more open area than CP and Std HDB fixing
- Change outs simpler compared to CP and Std HDB
- Can be used on 1x1ft or 2x1ft sizes
Pin Fixing System Details:

Further examples
The original method of attaching Screenex screen panels to the Pipetop or angle iron frame.
This fastening system has become the standard in the mining and aggregate industries throughout the world.
The Pin forces the spigots to get locked under the stringer rail. The neck on spigot ensures positive locking of spigot.
Screenex Pins are available in STD pin and Two Part pin.
Pin Fixing Benefits:
- Very secure fixing in light and heavy environments
- Is still the standard for extreme HD environments
- Two part pin provides simpler change outs for thick panels
- Simple to install/remove and has a larger room for error
- Currently used for 30-100mm thick panel fixing systems in Wet and Dry applications
- Can be used on 1x1ft and 2x1ft sizes
- Available for both Poly and Rubber panels
CP HDB Fixing System Details:

The CP fixing system uses a hold down rail which is clamped onto stringer rail on which the panel gets clipped onto it.
This system is used for heavy duty applications.
Snap In HDB Details:

Snap in HDB system again uses Hold down bar, which gets fitted in between 2 panels and clamps the HDB down.
The HDB is fixed to the stringer rails and the panels used are square panels without any spigots or profile.
This system is used on 2x1 panels, however the length is reduced to 590mm due to the thickness of the HDB.
However, the rail centres are 609.6mm.
Bolt On System Details:

Further examples
Panels are fixed using bolt and nut arrangement.
A steel plate is attached under stringer rails which carry welded bolt and nut is attached from top in counter bore profile in panel.
Plugs are then fixed on top of the nuts to prevent material ingress.
Bolt On Benefits:
- Extremely secure fixing system for heavy impact areas or full screens
- Suitable for wet and dry screening
- Brackets are designed for Bolt to point up (so panels changed from top)
- Can be used on 1x1ft or 2x1ft sizes
- Available for Rubber panels
Fixing Strip System Details:

The Fixing Strip system is designed for wet applications where stringer rail protection becomes necessary.
Along with Two Part pin this system makes the installation and removal of panels simple.
Doubledex and Tripledex Details:

The “Doubledex” and "Tripledex" concepts have provided the answer to many screening requirements such as increases in tonnage, cleaner product, improved heavy media recovery and improved dewatering.
Because of the light weight and strength of polyurethane screening, our system allows for a single deck to be equipped with a double deck. Yet it has the advantage of still using a single steel support frame, where the height of the side plates on the screen permit.
Both systems can be used for scalping operations, to allow the bottom decks to screen more efficiently by reducing the feed load factor and the screen bed depth.
Fixing Systems are the means by which the screen panels are attached to the frame. Screenex offer a variety of options, depending on the demands of your application.
