Memorandum of Understanding signed by Schenck Process India, Schenck Process China & Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd.

On 14th January 2009, Schenck Process India, Schenck Process China and Heavy Engineering Corporation Ltd., (HEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly participate in Coal Washery Projects of Coal India and other Public Sector undertakings.  With its strengths in implementing turnkey projects for core Sector Industries, HEC will be the prime bidder for Coal Washery Projects.  Schenck Process is a technology leader in coal washeries and has set up the largest single location Coal Washery in the world in China.  Schenck Process will be a technology partner, design/engineering provider and equipment supplier in the Coal Washery Projects under this MOU.

The MOU combines strengths of HEC and Schenck Process to bring high technology, modern and efficient Coal Washery processes to Indian customers.  Seen in the picture are Mike Petkovich, of Schenck Process & M. R. Venugopal of HEC exchanging the MOU.
