TestCenter activities

Work includes training, hardware, software, bulk material and mechanics tests.

Training
Training is provided for customers, service staff and internal and external employees. The workshops held in the TrainingCenter (training room E1) focus on the electrical and mechanical components of Schenck Process feed devices.

Hardware and software tests
This area is concerned with new and further developments to the evaluation and peripheral devices from Schenck Process, and offers customers service and technical advice in designing their systems.

Function, precision and environmental tests are performed for this purpose in the ControlsTestLab and EnvironmentalTestLab.

Bulk material and mechanics tests
These extensive test ranges concentrate on

• feed and precision tests for bulk materials undertaken with Schenck Process feed devices to promote sales and assist with design work
• customer and system-related feed and precision tests for bulk materials undertaken with Schenck Process feed devices
• tests using reference bulk materials from bulk storage

Development- and project-linked bulk material and mechanics tests are also performed in the form of real feed tests with customers' bulk materials.

TestLabs 1 – 4, the TestTower and the BulkMaterialLab are available for these various tests.
